Cred

Chair: Jeanette NedenJeanette Neden

Committee members are:

Liz Burns, Liz Dodge, Myrna Gower, Judy Gray, Ellie Kavner, Susan Lang, Judith Lask, Isobel Reilly, Annie Turner, Gerti Wilford.

The Committee usually hold four telephone meetings per year and one face to face meeting.

The CRED committee provides a framework for accrediting courses in family and systemic psychotherapy and in systemic practice (from Foundation to Supervision level).  AFT has a long history of promoting high standards of training and the accreditation framework can be found in the Blue Book, this is designed to allow for flexibility within clear guidelines.

The Blue Book (3rd edition) has been updated and is available electronically. It will be published once proposals and information on entry requirements and equivalence is agreed by the AFT Board.

Lapsed accreditations have been a continuing area of concern for CRED. Lapsed courses will now be withdrawn from the list of accredited courses on the web site, if a reaccreditation has not been applied for.
