The Registration Committee has the responsibility for managing the applications for the UKCP register of psychotherapists and for the AFT register of supervisors. This includes development of policies relating to registration, ensuring that all entrants to the register meet requirements and that those registered fulfil requirements for CPD and maintain safe levels of practice. We aim to do this in as “user friendly” fashion as possible.
The Registration committee meets to approve practitioners for UKCP Registration 4 x per year by telephone conference and face to face. There are 2 routes to registration
Following a successful application for registration, individuals will have to complete a full re-registration every 3 years. This will include evidence to show that CPD requirements have been met.
