The Association for Family Therapy has a team of members happy to respond to media requests. They can share insights and illustrative examples from their work, offer responses to news stories and interviews for features. They are also happy to discuss commissions for editorial work.
AFT will consider proposals for TV productions and undertake consultancy work with programme makers as well as provide on-screen interviewees and commentators. AFT will only consider those proposals that adhere to members' professional ethics with regard to participants' welfare.
We receive a high volume of requests, so please include your project and deadline details when contacting AFT. If you wish to contact AFT urgently, please call AFT's media + communications officer, Jan Parker, at janparker@aft.org.uk or via the Executive Office.
