Family Therapist
£33,975 - £43,105 pa inc pro rata, 18.75 hours pw

The Specislist Psychological Therapies Service (SPTS) is a tertiary level multidisciplinary psychological therapy service serving MHOA and primary care in Lewisham. The SPTS provides formal cognitive-behavioural therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and systemic family therapy to clients across the borough along with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for staff. This part time permanent post will work for one session each week with the formal family therapy service of the SPTS. In addition, you will be dedicated for a day each week to both the North and South Lewisham Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs).
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and qualified family Therapist to join our established psychological therapies service and help develop the capacity of the CMHTs for working with families. Regular support and supervision plus specialist supervision will be provided, along with opportunities for training and development.

Systemic Psychotherapist

We are a thriving multi-disciplinary service delivering regional services and a range of community services across 2 local authorities.
A systemic perspective is central to our philosophy and we have a number of UKCP qualified practitioners in various disciplines as well as 2 Consultant, and 3 Principal Systemic Psychotherapists.
This post will provide systemic expertise in North team through multi-agency consultation, supervision, training and direct work. Using your expertise and leadership you will set up a 'family therapy clinic' as part of the CAPA model and support the systemic practice of your team colleagues.
On a Trust basis you will join other systemic psychotherapists and to promote and ensure the governance of this modality and the profession.

Applications are invited for the post of Academic Tutor in Family Therapy to join the teaching and research team of the Section of Family Therapy at the Institute of Psychiatry based on the Denmark Hill Campus in Camberwell.
The post holder will have access to a wide range of academic facilities/opportunities available through Kings College London and the Institute of Psychiatry and participate in teaching and supervision at all levels. Applicants should have previous experience of teaching family therapy and also have significant clinical experience.

Wimbledon Guild Counselling Service
Salary: Band 7

The post holder will take responsibility for co-ordinating and developing systemic family therapy within the Wimbledon Guild Counselling Service. The Wimbledon Guild is a local charity that offers a range of services to the local community. Family Therapy was added to existing services five years ago. This part of the service presently has five volunteer trainee family therapists who see families that self refer, or are referred from a variety of local sources. The post is two sessions a week that can be worked flexibly. Responsibilities include developing the service and co-ordinating all aspects of the day to day running of the service, including liaising with referrers, allocating clients, setting up administrative procedures, data entry to the service database etc. Clinical supervision is provided outside the service and internal management supervision is provided by head of counselling, a registered psychotherapist. There is a fully equipped family therapy suite. We are looking for a qualified and registered family therapist who is capable of taking responsibility and initiative. It is desirable that the post holder has some experience of the NHS, management experience and some experience of working with volunteers.
Bromley Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

An exciting opportunity for a Band 7, 10 sessions Specialist / 8a, 8 sessions, Highly Specialist Family Psychotherapist, dependent upon experience, has arisen in Hillingdon Child, Family and Adolescent Consultation Service. Along with other systemic practitioners and multidisciplinary colleagues you will contribute to a friendly and well functioning service for children, adolescents and their families with complex mental health needs.
We would also like to invite applicants for an innovative post for a qualified Systemic Psychotherapist, Band 7, to provide an outreach service to six local schools. The service is intended to provide assessment and short-term treatment and group work. In-service training initially and consultation for this specialism will be provided by the Education Unit at the Marlborough Family Service.
