Module Leaders – UCL and Anna Freud Centre masters programmes
Salary: £32,468 - £49,201 FTE per annum, according to experience
1 x Clinical skills I and II – approx 6 hours per week
1 x Clinical Practice in Context – 150 hours per year, all teaching in Autumn term, London
These are two exciting opportunities for clinicians to give students an in-depth understanding of the contexts in which clinical work with children and families takes place, with a particular focus on CAMHS services. The modules are designed as part of the new MSc in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice, or as part of the MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology.  All teaching takes place at the Anna Freud Centre.

Our Family Support Service offers help to families with children aged 0-18 through a range of innovative interventions in response to each families needs, including parent consultation, child psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, and mental health support to some primary schools. You will play a leading role in the development of the service, ensuring high standards across every aspect of our work and identifying new clinical approaches as appropriate.

Specialist Clinician

Working Pattern: Part time/Full time
We are looking for Specialist Clinicians to provide clinical expertise to the Social Work Units, you will lead on the delivery of therapeutic evidence-based interventions to the most vulnerable children and their families. Providing direct therapeutic interventions, you will offer consultation and support to social work colleagues in understanding and developing skills in the methods informed by systemic and social learning theory.

Due to the retirement of the current Program Leader,  we are seeking to appoint to this post for the next academic year and will be advertising formally in a couple of months .The aim is to link 3 days of course time with 2 days of a clinical post in South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust.  Our priority is to attract someone of excellence to lead the courses so we would also be open to expressions of interest from individuals who are looking for a post which is less than full time. Applicants would need to be UKCP registrants who are on the AFT supervision register and have extensive experience of teaching family therapy including at qualifying level. They would also need to have proven skills in course organisation and management.
