AFT Directory of Family and Systemic Psychotherapists

The AFT directory is a list of some AFT members who offer Family and Systemic Psychotherapist/Family therapy in the UK, which you can search by location. However, it is a self-populating area by members and not a full representation of all qualified Family Therapists or those registered with a professional body, such as the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, UKCP.

Disclaimer:
The AFT is a membership organisation and open to members at all stages of training and practice. AFT is not a professional registration body. For members who are fully qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, they are required to hold registration with a professional body such as UKCP. Professional bodies provide an online register for the public to check a therapists credentials. It is recommended that anyone considering private Family therapy considers checking a therapist’s qualification and registration.

PLEASE NOTE:

AFT does not provide therapeutic services and the AFT office cannot provide any further information than that provided on this website. For further details on how to access public and independent therapeutic services, see How To Find Help.

Searching on the directory:

  • Use the 'Specialism ' box to select what you are looking for e.g. 'Online Counselling '
