SCORE-15 is a popular clinical tool in family and systemic psychotherapy. It measures various aspects of family functioning. In this workshop, Claire Sammut will introduce a novel implementation of SCORE-15 as a therapeutic instrument for generating insight. The workshop is based on findings from Claire's doctoral study that investigated the use of 2 questionnaires (SCORE-15 & Wellbeing index) and their utility within therapeutic services. Findings show that these instruments play a role in increasing the client’s voice in therapy and during clinical case management supervision. The workshop will focus on professionals’ and clients’ experiences of embedding these tools in therapy to generate insight. A new proposed tripartite supervision model will be also presented. This interactive workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn further about using outcome measures in therapy and to share solutions to arising challenges within an organisational context. Charlotte Burck & Astrid Winkler will introduce the SCORE-15 app, created to enable SCORE data to be more easily used as part of the therapy process. Questionnaires are sent out and results calculated electronically. The app then presents the results visually for family and therapist to look at together in the session, to be able to compare their different perspectives, and to track changes over time. This should enable therapists and supervisors to incorporate it more easily, in the ways Claire’s research has shown is so useful. They will demonstrate what the app can do and how straightforward it is to use.
