Training and Practice

 

  • Accredit professional family and systemic training courses run by external training providers
  • Support qualified family and systemic psychotherapists with application to the UKCP register and maintaining the requirements
  • Support all members with systemic skills and knowledge development with resources and guidance
  • Develop workforce training in systemic practice for key services

 

Consultation

 

  • Work with the media to promote understanding of family therapy and systemic practice
  • Contribute to major consultations shaping the future of therapeutic practice and services in the UK
  • Consult with organisations, politicians and policy makers, professional registration bodies and training institutions throughout the UK and Europe
  • Provide information and resources for people considering therapy
