This event has been rescheduled from 23 October 2025 This 2.5-hour interactive online experience invites systemic psychotherapists to explore difference not only as a concept, but as something lived and felt with our whole selves. The facilitators see difference as more than an idea, its dynamic presence influences how we listen, speak, and relate to each other. Together, we’ll journey into the rich terrain of differentiation, complexity, and intersectionality, moving beyond surface-level categories to uncover the multiplicity that often goes unseen. This workshop is not just about theory, it’s about what is felt, embodied, and unsaid. We offer practical ‘take away’ examples of how we can tune into silence, sense somatic signals, and respond to creative expressions as forms of communication. We will also explore ways of extending trauma-centring narratives to distribute cultural pride, resilience, and joy. Rooted in a blend of Western and non-Western systemic frames, this workshop will examine the tensions and possibilities that practitioners face when navigating sameness and difference in therapy and supervision. Led by a diverse team of experienced facilitators – Calvin Malcolm, John Burnham, Sharon Evans, David Secrett, Susie Lynch-Babb, and Shakira Nkanang. This workshop provides a practice-oriented space to deepen how we engage with race, identity, and difference in systemic psychotherapy. Register today to join this workshop for an impactful conversation that will evoke, inspire, and connect.
